Benny Wilson West Sr. (12 October 1930 - 15 April 1994) was the father of Doug and the paternal grandfather of Timothy and Bridgette West. He died at the age of 63, in Doug's house. When Michael and Bridgette went to Doug's house at night in 2017, they speculated that Benny was haunting it.

- According to Doug West, he had a massive heart attack while fighting with his daughter and her husband. Scott Kelly Hayes was taken into custody for murder, but was taken out of custody when it was revealed to be from a massive heart attack.
